Understanding Sphero Edu Accounts and Sphero Central

Sphero Edu uses Sphero Central for account creation, program storage, lesson progress, and classroom/family management. Signing up for an account is optional - you can start in Quick Start mode and create an account later if desired.

Quick Start vs. Account

  • Quick Start: Access main features without creating an account, including programming robots and working on lessons.

  • Benefits of an Account:

    • Program Storage: Cloud storage and sync across devices.

    • Lesson Storage: Save and continue lesson progress on any device.

    • Lesson Publishing: Create custom lessons and share with students/children or the community.

    • Classes/Families: Set up and manage student/child accounts and assignments.

Your data is stored on Sphero Central servers. For details on data handling, review the Privacy Policy and Edu Privacy Policy.
