Beginning in 2025, the Wall Storage includes three panels. If your Wall Storage has three panels instead of five, please follow these installation instructions.

Materials Included

  • 5 Wall Panels

  • 80 Bins

  • Bin Labels

Materials You Will Need (Not Included)

  • Wall Anchors x 20

  • 1 ¼” - 1 ½“ Screws x 20

  • Countersunk Washers x 20

  • Pencil

  • Screwdriver

  • Ruler

  • Level

  • Tape Measure

Prepare for Installation

Location
  • Mount your Wall Storage in an open, visible area, not in a corner or behind other tools.

  • For younger users, keep the area beneath the storage free of desks or shelving to make bins easily accessible.

Surface & Anchor Selection
  • Ensure the mounting surface can support the panels and the maximum load of Bits.

  • If mounting to a surface that is not ¾” thick plywood, use anchors.

  • Plastic anchors work well for drywall.

Height
  • Adult users: top of panels between 75"–78" (190–198 cm).

  • Children: top of panels between 55"–64" (140–162 cm).

Install the Panels

  1. Get a friend to help – mounting is easier with two people.

  2. Decide the maximum height and mark the top left pilot hole with a pencil.

  3. For drywall: Use a screwdriver to drill the hole, or a drill slightly smaller than the wall anchor.

  4. Mark the next pilot hole 16" to the right using a ruler and level. Drill the hole.

  5. Insert wall anchors into the holes.

  6. Match the mounting holes on the top edge of the panel to the pilot holes and mark the lower holes. Drill and insert anchors.

  7. Screw on the panel using washers and screws.

  8. Place the next panel next to the first. Repeat the steps to drill, anchor, and screw it in place.

  9. Repeat for the remaining panels.

Add Bins and Labels

  1. Hook the bins into the indented areas on the wall panels.

  2. Slide-in bin labels on the front of the bins.

  3. Organize Bits in columns by function (Power, Input, Wire, Output, Accessories).

  4. Arrange modules in ascending order by identifying number (e.g., i11, i12, i13).

Add Bits

  • Place Bits and accessories into the corresponding bins.
