Using Google Classrooms with Sphero Edu
Sphero Edu supports Sign in With Google to simplify account creation and login. Educators using Google Classroom can also sync class rosters to Sphero Central for easier student management.
Sign in With Google

Educators and learners can sign up or sign in using an existing Google Account.

To create a Sphero account, select Sign in With Google on the Sphero Edu app or Sphero Central website.

If your Google Account is new to Sphero Edu, you will be prompted to provide basic information to create an account.

Once set up, you can sign in using Google moving forward.

Passwords are not stored by Sphero Edu or Sphero Central when using Google authentication.
Google Classroom Sync
Teachers can automatically sync students from Google Classroom to Sphero Central:

Create a Teacher account on Sphero Central using Sign in With Google. Complete the account setup when prompted.

Go to the My Classes page in the BOLT+/RVR+/Mini section.

Click Create New Class.

Select Google Classroom Sync.

Agree to the transfer of class roster data and select which classes to sync.
Notes on Google Classroom Sync

Syncing is read-only: changes in Sphero Central will not affect Google Classroom.

Students will be added to Sphero Central but will remain pending until they sign in for the first time.
Additional Information for Shared Devices

Google allows a maximum of 10 accounts signed in per device.

If you exceed this limit, Google displays:
"You are already signed in to the maximum number of accounts. If you want to use another account you must sign out of all Google Accounts then sign in to the account you want." -
To manage accounts, visit Google Account Management to sign out accounts as needed.
