Understanding mini LED Lights

Sphero mini’s LED lights change color or flash in different patterns to indicate its status. This guide explains what the lights mean.

While Plugged In

• Pulsing blue – mini is charging

• Solid green – mini is fully charged

While Firmware is Updating

• Rainbow colors – Firmware is updating

• Alternates blue/yellow – Corrupt firmware (connect mini and update the firmware to fix)

During General Use

• Rapid rainbow colors for a few seconds – mini is going to sleep

• Yaw-dependent rainbow colors – mini is idle (mini will go to sleep after 5 minutes of inactivity)

• Constant white light – Initial connection made in the app

• Pulsing red – Low battery (mini needs charging)
