Understanding indi LED and Light Colors
Sphero indi uses LED lights and eye colors to communicate its status. Here’s what each indicator means:
General Operation
| Status | Eye LEDs | Top LEDs | What it means |
| Wake Up | Rainbow fade-in | Same as Eyes | indi is powering on. |
| Go to Sleep | Rainbow fade-out | Same as Eyes | indi is powering off. |
| Charging | Solid Blue | Off | Currently charging. |
| Charged | Solid Green | Off | Battery is full. |
| Connected | Flash Blue (2x) | Same as Eyes | Bluetooth connection successful. |
| Disconnected | Flash Blue (2x) | Same as Eyes | Bluetooth connection lost. |
Battery and Error Alerts
| Status | Eye LEDs | Top LEDs | Action Needed |
| Low Battery | Slow Red Flash | Same as Eyes | Battery is getting low; prepare to charge. |
| Critical Battery | Fast Red Flash | Same as Eyes | Charge indi immediately. |
| Updating | Pulse Orange | Same as Eyes | Do not power off. Firmware is updating. |
| Failed Firmware Update | Flash Orange | Same as Eyes | Connect to Sphero Edu Jr and retry the firmware update |
| System Error | Flash Red & Blue | Same as Eyes | Contact Support. |
