Troubleshooting Connection Issues in the Sphero Play App

Supported Robots

• BLE: BOLT+, Sphero Mini, BOLT, SPRK+

• Classic Bluetooth: Sphero 2.0, SPRK

BLE Robots

1. Power On

   • BOLT/BOLT+/SPRK+: Place in charging base until LEDs light up.

   • Mini: Remove shell, plug in micro-USB until LEDs light up.

2. If Connection Fails

   • Move robot away from other Bluetooth devices.

   • Stay close to the robot.

   • Charge robot (flashing red = low battery).

   • Toggle Bluetooth off/on.

   • Restart the app.

   • Restart your device.

Classic Bluetooth Robots (2.0 & SPRK)

1. Remove from charger & wake with shake/double-tap.

2. Robot flashes 3 colors.

3. Open Bluetooth settings (iOS, Android, Fire OS).

4. Match robot name with color flashes (e.g., Sphero-RYW).

5. Select to pair (30 sec–2 min).

6. Open Sphero Play and connect.
