Specdrums Edu App Not Making Noise

If you’re not hearing any sound while using the Specdrums EDU app, your iPad may be in silent mode.

Some iPads don’t have a physical mute switch on the side. Instead, they use a software toggle for silent mode. This toggle is found in the Control Center (Quick Panel), not in the main iPad Settings app.

To fix this:

  1. Swipe down from the top-right corner of your iPad screen to open the Control Center.

  2. Look for the bell icon in the lower-left corner.

    • If the bell has a line through it, silent mode is on.

  3. Tap the bell icon so the line disappears.

  4. Silent mode is now turned off, and sounds from the Specdrums EDU app should play normally.
