Privacy and Security in Blueprint Studio
Sphero takes privacy seriously. Blueprint Studio is built to respect user's data and collect as little as possible. Here are some common questions you might have:
Do I need an account to use Blueprint Studio?
No. Blueprint Studio does not have account sign up or sign in.
Does Blueprint Studio collect personal information?
Nope! Since there are no accounts, we don't need to collect personal information. No email addresses, passwords, names, physical addresses, or any other personal information is collected.
What information is collected while I use the app?
Blueprint Studio collects non-personal analytics information about:
- Your device and browser
- How the app is used
- Robot connections, diagnostics, and sensor data
Why is this information collected?
To improve the app and robots, fix bugs, and understand which features are used. Basically, these anonymous analytics help us make the software and hardware better over time.
Are my saved projects private?
Projects are stored to your browser's local storage. Only you can access them, unless you share your computer with other people. If you want to back your projects up, you can download them to your computer. If you need to share your projects, you can also save them online to our servers with a share code. Anyone you give the code to can make a copy of the program, but cannot edit the source project unless you give them the project PIN. Sphero does not collect any personal information with share codes - only your project code is stored on the platform.
Does Sphero sell or share my personal information?
No. Sphero does not sell or disclose your personal information to third parties.
