Online Tax-Exempt Purchases

Thank you for your interest in making a tax-exempt purchase with Sphero! To take advantage of tax-exempt status, you’ll first need to create a sphero.com account.

Why do I need an account?

With a sphero.com account, you’ll be able to:

• Track and manage your orders

• Update your profile

• Manage and confirm your tax-exempt status

How do I create a tax-exempt account?

1. Go to sphero.com

2. Click Login/Signup My Account in the upper-right corner

3. Select Create your account and follow the guided setup

4. During setup, you’ll be asked to select your school/organization:

   • If your school/organization is listed → Complete the setup. Your account will automatically be tax-exempt.

   • If your school/organization is not listed → Select School/organization not found. You’ll then be able to enter your details and upload a copy of your tax-exempt certificate.

What happens after I upload my certificate?

Our team will review your information and update your account within 24 hours (Monday–Thursday, 8am–6pm Central Time).

How do I confirm my tax-exempt status?

Once approved, log in to your account and go to My Profile under My Account. If your status shows as tax-exempt, your purchases on sphero.com will not be charged tax.
