Missing and Lost Orders

We know how frustrating it is to expect a package and find an empty doorstep. Before you panic, most "lost" orders are usually just playing a very good game of hide-and-seek.

Follow this checklist to track down your items.

Did someone else sign for it?

If your order was shipped to a school, office, or apartment complex, it may have been intercepted by a central receiving point.

• Check with the front desk: Office staff or mailroom attendants often sign for deliveries.

• Check the storage room: It might be waiting in a secure holding area or a dedicated package locker.

Is it hiding nearby?

Carriers often try to protect packages from weather or theft by tucking them out of plain sight. Take a quick walk around and check:

• Side or back entrances: Sometimes drivers find a "safer" door than the front one.

• Behind objects: Look behind planters, pillars, gates, or large porch furniture.

• Neighbors: Check with the person next door or the adjacent office suite—mix-ups happen!

• Common areas: Loading docks, mailrooms, or under the stairs.

What do the tracking details say?

Your tracking link is your best friend in this situation.

• Delivery Notes: Look for specific notes like "Left at back porch" or "Delivered to Parcel Locker."

• Proof of Delivery: Carriers like UPS often include a delivery photo so you can see exactly where it was dropped off.

• The "Early Scan" Rule: Occasionally, packages are scanned as "Delivered" while they are still on the truck. Please wait 24 hours before reporting a loss, as most "missing" packages arrive the following business day.
