mini Disconnects While Plugged In

Sphero mini is designed to reset automatically when plugged into a power source.

Connection Behavior 

  • When mini is plugged in to charge, it will drop connection to the Sphero Play and Sphero Edu apps.

  • If using the Sphero Play app, after a few seconds, the Sphero Play app will automatically attempt to reconnect to mini.

Driving and Gameplay

  • Sphero mini cannot drive while charging because the motors are disabled.

  • You can still play games while mini is charging, though controlling the robot may be more challenging.
