mini Connection Troubleshooting
Follow these steps to ensure your Sphero mini connects properly to your device.
Enable Bluetooth and Location

Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device.

If using an Android device, also enable Location Services.
Connecting to Sphero mini

Sphero mini uses Bluetooth 4.0, so no pairing through the device’s Bluetooth menu is required.

Launch the Sphero Play app.

Hold your device close to your mini and follow the on-screen instructions.
Kindle Devices

Location permissions are required to scan for Sphero robots.

FreeTime and children accounts on Kindle devices have location permissions disabled.

Bluetooth connectivity will not work while using Sphero Play in FreeTime with a child account.
Troubleshooting

If you still experience connection issues, try uninstalling and reinstalling the Sphero Play app.
