indi Color Cards and Durable Tiles

Can I make my own color cards?

indi is designed to read the specific colors on the included cards and tiles. You may experiment with colored paper or markers that closely match the colors on the official cards. If the colors are nearly identical, indi should respond correctly.

Can I write or color on the cards?

No. Writing or coloring on the cards may affect how indi reads the colors.

Can I order more color cards?

Yes, replacement Color Cards and Durable Tiles are available.

Can I use stickers or tape to secure the cards?

You can use painter’s tape if you run out of the included white stickers. Avoid other tapes that may damage the cards.

How do I clean the durable tiles?

• Use a lint roller to remove debris.

• Wash with warm water and dish soap.

• Tiles can be machine washed on a cold, gentle cycle without detergent. Do not put tiles in the dryer.

How many cards or tiles are included in each kit?

• indi Student Kit: 20 durable tiles (2 red, 3 orange, 2 yellow, 3 green, 3 teal, 3 blue, 1 purple, 3 pink)

• indi at Home Learning Kit: 30 color cards (5 green, 4 yellow, 3 red, 2 purple, 3 teal, 3 orange, 5 blue, 5 pink)

• indi Class Pack: 8 sets of 20 durable tiles + 2 sets of 30 color cards

Can I laminate my color cards?

No. Laminating may reflect light and interfere with indi’s color sensor.
