Getting Started with mini

Charging Sphero mini

1. Remove the shell from your mini.

2. Locate the micro USB charging port.

3. Connect the included micro USB cable to a power source.

mini will begin charging automatically.

Installing the Sphero Play App and Sphero Edu App

To use your mini, you’ll need the Sphero Play app on a compatible device:

• Google Play/Android (Chrome OS)

• App Store (iOS)

• Fire OS (Kindle)

You can also use the Sphero Edu App to connect to, drive, and program with Sphero mini:

• App Store (iOS)
• App Store (macOS)
• Windows (Downloads)
• Fire OS (Kindle)
• Google Play (Android/Chrome OS)
• Windows (Microsoft Store)

Power Modes

Sphero mini has two power modes: Standby and Power Off.

Standby

• Occurs when you close the app and mini sits idle until the lights turn off.

• To wake from Standby, launch the Sphero Play app near your robot.

Power Off

• Activated by navigating to the settings page in the Sphero Play app and selecting "Power Off."

• To wake from Power Off:

  1. Plug mini into a power source.

  2. Wait for the LED light to turn on.

  3. Launch the Sphero Play app.
