Condensation Inside Sphero SPRK+
It is normal for condensation (water droplets) to occasionally form inside your Sphero SPRK+. This usually happens:
-
During the second half of the charging cycle
-
During heavy use when the robot heats up
Why Condensation Forms
-
The heat generated by SPRK+’s motors combined with a cold external environment can cause natural humidity trapped inside the robot to condense into water droplets.
-
This is a result of the temperature difference between the inside and outside of the robot.
-
The condensation will disappear once the temperatures equalize.
Safety and Performance
-
Condensation inside SPRK+ does not pose any safety risk.
-
It does not cause failure or damage to the robot.
-
Performance remains unaffected during normal use.
-
In rare cases, wheel slippage may occur if moisture collects in a way that the wheels hit it just right.
