Condensation Inside BOLT

Condensation Inside Sphero BOLT

It’s normal for water droplets (condensation) to occasionally form inside your Sphero BOLT. This can happen during the second half of the charging cycle or after heavy use when the robot heats up. The condensation forms because heat from the motors meets a cooler environment, causing natural humidity trapped inside the robot to condense.

Key points:

  • Condensation will disappear once the internal and external temperatures balance.

  • Condensation does not pose any safety risk or cause the robot to fail.

  • In rare cases, wheel slippage may occur if moisture inside collects in just the right spot, but this does not affect overall performance.

No action is required - your BOLT is designed to handle these conditions safely.
