Cleaning RVR and RVR+ Wheels
If you enjoy driving your RVR or RVR+ over different types of terrain, it’s normal for the wheels to get a little dirty over time. Proper cleaning helps maintain performance and extend the life of your robot.
Removing and Cleaning the Treads
-
The treads can be safely removed from RVR/RVR+. Removing them will not damage the wheels.
-
Wipe the treads with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris.
Cleaning the Wheel Grooves
-
Use a cloth or compressed air (like the kind used for cleaning keyboards) to remove dirt from the grooves of the wheels.
Removing Hair or Tangled Debris
-
If hair or other debris is stuck in the wheels, use tweezers to pull it out.
-
Alternatively, carefully use scissors to cut away tangled hair.
Regular cleaning ensures smooth operation and helps your RVR/RVR+ continue performing at its best.
