Charging Your RVR and RVR+
Keeping your RVR or RVR+ charged and ready for action is essential, whether you’re powering a single robot or a classroom full of them.
Charging Multiple RVR/RVR+ Units
For multiple units, we recommend using a multi-port charging hub, like this one.
-
This keeps your workspace tidy.
-
Ensures all your RVR/RVR+ robots are charged and ready at the same time.
Charging a Single RVR/RVR+
For just one robot, a standard charging brick is sufficient.
Using Your Own Charger
If you prefer to use your own charger, make sure it meets the following specifications:
-
5V / 3A
-
9V / 3A
-
12V / 2.5A
Using a charger that doesn’t match these specs could result in slower charging or even damage your RVR/RVR+.
Charging Cable Safety
-
Check your charging cable regularly.
-
Replace it if you notice fraying, exposed wires, or debris to ensure safe and reliable charging.
