BOLT Charging Cradle Compatibility

The Sphero BOLT charging cradle is specifically designed for BOLT robots. BOLT has a higher battery capacity than previous Sphero models, and its charging system is optimized for this capacity.

Important Compatibility Notes:

  • Using the BOLT charging cradle with older Sphero models (SPRK+, SPRK Edition, Sphero 2.0, or original Sphero) is not recommended, as these robots will not charge properly.

  • Placing a BOLT robot in an older Sphero charging cradle is also not recommended, as it will not charge correctly.

  • While this is not dangerous, for optimal charging and performance, always use the charging cradle included with your Sphero robot.

  • BOLT will not charge in a BOLT+ charging cradle
